I never know why I decide to paint what I decide to paint, but lately it’s been naked ladies. I’ve done a few in my art journal, and these two on canvas boards. These involved collage with gelli prints, followed by acrylic paint, and some stencils for background layering. I really need to work on hands–I’ve graduated from octopus tentacles to crab claws, when I can’t manage to hide them altogether!
These ladies are so lovely and interesting………..I didn’t even notice the hands till you mentioned it. They really have no need for them (: xxoo
I think they are lovely and sensual. The hands look feminine and, honestly, that is not the focus of the piece. The focus, to me, is the sensuality of the woman’s body.
